Big Bloggers Gathering pt 1

The Big Bloggers Gathering on the 3rd of February was great. A total of 69 (or was it 67) bloggers turned up. Thanks to the organisors, Yeehou n Jolene.

We gathered at Wizard’s Cafe Sg. Wang. I had this sweet n sour fish there. Sux. lol

The quiet and sweet miszmilk. I was shocked when I found out that she did not have a camera with her. Thus, the entry in her blog about the gathering without any pictures at all.(but it was still damn nice to read)

Hard Rock

Last week was my mum’s birthday. We went for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.

We reached there at about 830pm. I left my parents in there to order and I came out to shoot a bit.

I forgot to make reservation but luckily there was still room for a few more people.

Dad ordered this. Not so attractive lah.. but the beef omfg damn nice. RM36.

Mum wanted seafood n rice. So i suggested this. Tasted a bit like “lai yao har” ..well it is buttered prawns anyway. RM32.

Medium well please.
Love the mushroom gravy. The steak also yummymummy. RM33.

and yes.. Iz Me. lol

Vista Launching

Right before we went for the bloggers gathering, we headed to
lowyat to have a look at the Microsoft Vista launching.

Met up with FoodLover who works for Microsoft Malaysia. She was busy guiding users to her blog. hmm Joan pls do work ok. blog later

We waited til she was free then we took a photo with her.

The Wedding

As cliche as it can be… when there’s a wedding, there will be roses. how cum? sunflower cannot?

So sad… the couple didnt get to eat cos had to walk around to entertain their guests. lol

Took this last week at Fish n Co. Bangsar Village. Damn nice. RM45 for 2 person. You can also order the seafood platter for 1 person.. and its only RM25.

Everyone knows about the famous Ampang Yongtaufu.. but not many knows where it is and how it looks like.

This is the original ampang yong tau fu. Located at Lebuh Ampang.

Omg Fireworks!

It was 9.30pm (spent about half a day at Titiwangsa).. we got ready for the fireworks performance.

Everyone stood by the lake… anxiously waiting.

Suddenly…

The fireworks shot up too damn high. One needs a wide angle lens in order to be able to shoot evrything.

Therefore i tried a vertical shot.

The fireworks lasted for 10-15 minutes which was good. They have breaks after a few minutes so you can realign your tripod or drink some water or watever..

anyways… I feel proud that we are really doing something for Visit Malaysia 2007.

Malaysia Rox!
