Thursday, November 29th, 2007

2 weeks ago, we went for lunch at this place called JoJo’s Little Kitchen at Kuchai Lama.

(foto taken using N95) They serve very very sedaplicious curry pan mee.

it was full when we arrived but the boss managed to squeeze us to one corner of the shop. lol

all photos taken using my new 50mm 1.7 :D

Joshua is a new member of our lunch gang… he just joined us this month. :D

everytime i come here, I only order 1 thing. Curry Pan Mee… damn nice

Rm5.50 only. Very reasonable rite?

of course they have the original version too.

I cant really tell exactly where this shop is, but if you can find Island Cafe, Kopitown and Chicken Hotpot, then you are near already.

The City Glows

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

After attending the MIFA fashion show, Jen, Adrian and I met up with Junn for dinner.

Then we decided to go to the LookOut Point at Hulu Klang. Jacklyn and Loh joined us.

The view from there is superb. The whole KL City is in view with KLCC and KL Tower in the middle.

Super nice scene…. ahhhhhhh

after we got enough photos to fill up our memory cards, we went down to the hillside cafe to have a drink while enjoying the cool breeze and the great scenery.

the place was too dark for photos if we dont use flash… but luckily before going to LookOut point, i got myself a 50mm 1.7 lens so shooting at lowlight conditions is no problem

wanna see the beautiful KL scene again?

Here you go.

Nokia S60 Dinner

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

2 weeks ago, I got invited by David to a dinner at Rick’s Cafe, One Bangsar with Mr. Mahmood Kalantar(Director, Business Development, APAC, Nokia) along with the rest, to discuss about S60 and how Symbian will affect our lives in the future.

Presentation slides on the said topic. He also showed us a video of the new Nokia Touch phone which runs on Symbian OS.

The moment I arrived, I was stunned to see so many Nseries phones lying on the tables… including the new N82.

The 4 latest Nseries models. The N82 was launched 1 hour before the dinner in the US and we got to play with it here in KL already. Thanks to Ms. Hazel, the Communications Manager of Nokia, for bringing the multimedia computers over for us to try out.

Ok lemme bring all these toys back. I need to research them! To see if they are really good. Can ah?

Mr Mahmood then started his presentation.. check out the video. You might spot some familiar faces (other than me), like Suanie, Kyspeaks and Paultan.

More photos soon! :D

BigApple in Pavilion

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

lets get back to our Album T photos. haha

The host using a pink Album T to take photos of the Sony crew.

Whoaaa!! A700 photographer spotted!!

“Hey uncle! no need to hide! I can see you from far! The striking orange lens ring. the solid body and the shiny metal alpha logo caught my eye even though you are kilometres away!”

Then we walked over to the smile and snap booths at the side to try out the smile detection feature in Album T

When the feature is switched on, the camera will only snap when the person smiles… or else… it will not work. ahhaa I call this SIAO CAM.

and then we walked over to the other side and met up with George

and EngHoe who saw me zooming from far.

So he held up his A700 and posed for me. lol

The event ended at about 4 something. We walked allllllllll the way from timessquare to Pavilion for… you know what.

ON THE CONTRARY……… BIG APPLE IS NOW OPENED IN PAVILION!

go to the top floor and ull find it in front of TGIF and WongKok CharChanTeng

Package from Nederlands

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

So the package from Nederlands was actually a photo magazine.

I have also highlighted the address from the contents page(pg2).. and i saw my name in it! wah! ahhaha

I quickly flipped to page 47 to see what was on it.

I saw this.

Remember this KLCC shot I posted last month? ahaha they printed it on a double page!

and then I flipped to the next page.

I saw 2 more of my photos! Both taken during the 9th Emperor Festival!

ahaha and the funniest thing was to see my siao face at the top of the page.

too bad its in dutch… so i cannot understand… ahhahahahah but then its all good.

Im proud. lol… they actually contacted me last month asking if they could use few of my photos for their magazine… I agreed and I wrote a short bio about myself for them… but they translated it to dutch.

you guys can view the KLCC and the 9th Emperor shots again in my FLICKR and in my GALLERY
