hey all! 2nd day in hongkong already. Haha arrived at 2 yesterday and have been walking non stop.

ok after all those Jetty jumps… Ah Lok drove us back to Farlim, Air Itam for Asam Laksa
According to him, this place is quite famous…
The soup is thick… sour and a lil bit spicy. not bad… taste of the fish is just nice.
we also tried this…. not bad la.. nothing special.
then at night, we went to Gurney Plaza to meet up with some Penang bloggers…
after deciding, we went to makan at Food Loft.
In the foto we can see alcheong, tungz, Emily, Ah Lok, Douglas, Josh, Cedric doing peace sign, CheeHsien, Wendy, Ralph, Willaz, Koolz and me and Aaron in front.
i ordered this…. seriously.. it suxked… lol too salty
i then got a call from Nicholas Chan and he told me that he was at the ground floor having dinner at BarBQ Chicken….
so we went down to meet him
after that, Doug Josh Lok and I left Gurney and went to meet up with HungWei at Northam Beach Cafe… and coincidently the rest of the Penang bloggers gang went there too.. ahaha so we all sat at one super long table and chat and laffed n camho-d like mad

after eating ais kacang… we went to Teluk Ketumbar Jetty…. its a damn damn damn long one… it goes dam dam dam dam far away from the shore.

I just came back from the premier screening of I Am Legend. Brought my parents there. I so good kan? ahah… I dont wanna spoil it… but here’s my ratings… 7/10. It’s worth watching.
OKAY! so… after eating thai food, we went to have dessert.
Watch the video! See how we teleported to the hawker center. hahahaha.. a bit like Hiro in ‘Heroes’. No editing at all…. Whole video recorded using the N95… but a bit hard to hear our voices cos wind too strong

This one sux. They put too much santan(coconut milk). The cendul in KL much better.
We had O chien too! This one is superb… crunchy.. like fried crackers at the bottom with eggs and oysters mixed… plus the sourish chilli sauce…. omg.
after eating… we walked across the road to New World Park to have a short walk to digest all the thai food and dessert and oysters…
and then we leaned. lol

At lunch time, we went to this thai seafood restaurant nearby Gurney to makan.
Their business hours start from 12noon…. and we reached there 11.55am… so basically we were their first customers
all these for about 12 bux per person… ok la kan?

Kek Lok Si Lean

ok back to Penang photos.
after breakfast, Ah Lok drove us to Kek Lok Si Temple.
It’s one of the best known temples in the island. Situated at Air Itam..
Spent about 10 minutes in here taking photos. haha love my wide lens.
we climbed up the roofed pathway and reached another stop. I shot these candles there.
There were rows of Buddha statues along the walls and I was thinking… how to shoot these things leh?

then we took a ramp car up to the top floor.
