We went Muar

Early last month, we went to Muar to attend Brandon and Cherrie’s 2nd wedding dinner.

We reached there the night before the big day.

In the morning, everyone was ready for the morning tea session. We camho-ed while waiting for Brandon to arrive.

Thats us. haha we came along with Selina in Jen’s car.

Cherrie also took some photos with her relatives… I love this candid shot of her lol

Not long after that, Brandon and his ‘brothers’ arrived to pick Cherrie up.

Brandon was happy. haha actually everyone was happy also la

It wasnt that simple cos they had to play some games before they could enter the house. Angpau need to be given to the ‘sisters’ as entry fee.

The ‘brothers’ finally got pass the ‘sisters’ and Brandon finally got to meet Cherrie who was hiding in her room. They exchanged rings.

Hikaru Bday

last month we celebrated Hikaru’s bday at Pasta Zanmai at 1 Utama.

We had some very nice soba n something else. lol

each one of these was about 15 to 20 bux and miso soup was 6 bux.

we then took photos among ourselevs of course.

it was then time to sing bday song and cut cake and eat cake and get fat.

the cake was damn nice. so nice i could eat the whole cake.(but then i will then become cakeface d… not donutface… lol)

Leaving Sydney

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

on the 3rd day, we attended 2 Nokia events in the hotel ballroom itself.

The first was an interview and quiz session called “Music the way you like it” and the 2nd one was an N-gage event called “Get out and play”

I’ll talk about the music session in symbianpOp tomorrow.

in the 2nd session, we got to play and compete and experience the upcoming n-gage platform and got to know more about the new service.

after the 2 activities in the ballroom, we got the chance to interview the managers of each department of Nokia individually in separate meeting rooms. (will talk about it in symbianpOp tomoro also.)

(this scallop was the entree.. main dish ill show nex time) Dinner that night was again provided by Nokia but this one is abit grand… as in.. everyone who came for the media event was invited to dinner at one posh restaurant nearby.

after dinner… we went on with some activities (which got me sleeping like a dead fish the next morning)

we checked out around afternoon and left Sydney then.

my sleepy face. lol

anyways…. these are just very brief updates on my Sydney trip. Full posts with photos and videos will be up after all my pending posts. lol

Nokia Showcase Dinner

I just came back from the Nokia showcase of theire new services and new devices.

It took place on a ship called the Starship.

damn nice.. and it’s my first time attending an event held on a ship. hehe

we then sailed out to the Australian seas…

After the dinner, we were asked to go upstairs to try out their newly announced devices.

Sydney update 2

so what have i been doing these 2 days in Sydney?

since the Nokia Showcase will only start tonight, we have been wasitng our time walking around the city.. taking photos…

buying Krispy Kreme

and walked again… and took more photos…. and going online at hotel lobby…

and also lunch and dinner… paid by Nokia… all nic nice n expensive food. lol

This was taken during lunch in a Steak Restaurant called Angus, at Darling Harbour.

1 more hour til Nokia Showcase 08. Cant wait!

My room in Sydney

damn tired la today.. walked all over the city taking photos..

and Nokia Showcase 08 will start tomoro 630pm (330pm Msian time) on a cruise boat thingymajig…

Nokia will announce new devices and services there…

oh! and erm.. Krispy Kreme Sydney Rox. lol

wassup all!!! i reached Sydney airport at about 7am Msian time and the driver brought us here for a short 5 minutes photo snap snap session before sending us to our hotel.
