Orang Utan House

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

OK part 2.

I took another shot at the red alley… dono why but i like this shot. aahhaha

I then walked to the main road. The one u can see in the photo above. Then I turn left n saw a shop that sells traditional clothes.

I stood outside the shop for about 10 minutes cos I saw a girl talking to the shopkeeper inside. I waited til they were done and asked the gal to check out the blue dress while i snap.

Since I spent so much time at the shop, my teammates have already moved on to the next spot.

I ran and caught up with them and managed to drag 2 of them to take this shot when we walked past a mirror shop. :D

Few minutes after that I stopped. They asked me why and I pointed to a shop painted in yellow n said “itu orang utan house lah…. kawan kawan i semua pergi sana beli baju wan… i go buy baju first… u guys go ahead without me”.

I entered alone and started thinking which tshirt to buy but in the end I still bought the one that my friends bought… the “no photos please” tshirt. :D

then i continued walking and took photos along the way.

Saw a lot of ppl selling stuff… and coincidently there’s this “sdn bhd” text on the pillar near a stall… so ngam can!

I then caught up with my teammates again and we visited a temple.

More photos TOMORROW!

Alpha Outing @ Melaka

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Last month Sony organised a photoshoot outing for the Alpha community members to Melaka. It’s a bi-monthly outing as there is always an outing and a workshop evry 2 months for Alpha members to take part and to mix with other Alphanatics.

We gathered at Midvalley in the morning to wait for the transportation provided by Sony. Since the bus was a bit late, everyone took the opportunity to geek out n talk cameras. lol

While everyone was there talking, Sony also gave out an Alpha vest to each and every member… damn nice ok.. just what ive always wanted.

Right before boarding the bus, we took a group shot. Black n orange… so nice.

That’s me n Cheeweng… n the rest of the gang in the background. :D In the bus, Sony gave out red packets to everyone with money inside for everyone to spend for lunch…. means free food! lol

We finally arrived at about 130pm…. before we started our photoshoot, we got into our respective teams, and went for lunch.

Then we started our activity. Our first spot was the Melaka river….. This is one of my favourite shots from that day.

Then we took a stroll along the houses by the river cos it started to rain and we can only hide here… but we never wasted a chance to take photos! haha

This is one of the alleys between 2 rows of shops.

OK Lah more photos tomorrow. :D For now, check out my Symbian blog.

IF you are using Nokia Nseries then hope you will benefit from the contents. :D

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Last month, we attended Wabisabi’s 1st anniversary party kinda thing at Plaza TTDI.

It’s actually a bar with Japanese influence and they serve a wide range of grilled skewers, sake and premium spirits that would delight any palate.

We camho a bit while waiting for food to be served…

They offered free flow of drinks that night… so we had beers and also sake of course…

That’s the sake… to be frank, it was actually my first time tasting Japanese wine. ehhe

The food was quite good. We had a taste of their specialty, the yakitori.

We also took photos with the kimono girls there.. ahaha

Back From Macau!

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

EVERYONE!!!!! IM BACK FROM MACAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Just arrived in KL at about 2-3hours ago. Took this on the plane around 7pm.

Actually this trip was kinda boring… cos there’s nothing much to do there. Everywhere you go you will definitely spot at least 1 casino.

Here’s one of the famous ones. The Grand Lisboa.

…. and Macau is famous for its Portuguese influence on its architecture… and one of the most famous landmarks/tourist spots in Macau was the Ruins of St. Paul’s.

There it is. ahahaha It’s a must-visit spot when ur in Macau.

OK 3 photos for now. Will blog about this again next month. :D
