Many many many weeks ago, the gang and I went for dinner at Sushiking Midvalley.

Some came early… and some came after dinner..

We ordered these….

I had the chicken curry katsudon.. damn nice.. n damn filling. ahahaha

Then we took some photos using the 35mm f1.4 lens.

Then the rest of the gang came… so we walked a bit and stopped by Action City.. and some of us bought this together.

domo kun!!!!! lol we all using it as keychain now.

Then we went yumcha at Coffee Bean.

OK finish.. ahhaah trying very hard to clear my pending posts… this one was taken on 15th August… imagine how much more pending…. >.<

Goodbye Macau

First of all, I’d like to say this…

I’VE PASSED THE 2ND AUDITION!!!!!!! .. and I am now one of the top 30 participants of the photography-themed reality show, Double Exposure, organised by Sony! (this competition was opened for anyone.. even those who doesnt own any cameras.. lol..)

What will the winner get?

40″ Sony Bravia LCD
Highest end Sony Vaio laptop worth RM15000
Full set of studio lightings
A chance to shoot for a local magazine cover.

The reality show will begin recording 25th this month until February 2009… I wonder if I can survive in the show til then. ahahah

OK back to our last Macau post.

After our camera phone shoot out at the shops and all, we walked back to the hotel to check out.

Then we arrived at the hotel, checked out, took taxi to the airport.

Here’s how it looks like. We arrived quite early so we went to walk around and had some light snacks.

The food i purchased in Air Asia… damn nice lah malaysian food!!!!!!

Went to KLPF today for the Sony Double Exposure audition and I made it thru the 1st round!

Look at all the brands…. Eventhough Nikon has a lot of yellow boards up… but I dare to say… the one that attract ppl’s attention is the black squarish booth with an orange colour alpha logo.. rite? Say yes people… ahha

Innov8 Run!

Yesterday I got an email from Sue… the thin girl from previous Samsung event (thats according to her la..) I need to see her in real life to know if she is really thin.

Anyway, thats not the point. The point is that she sent me an invitation to join the Samsung Innov8 Run, in conjunction of the launch of their latest 8megapixel camera Symbian phone.

In order to be selected, I need to blog about the reasons why I wanna to be part of the run. So here goes.

1. I wanna be there again with my friends so that we can take the same photo as the one we took last year at the Samsung event we attended.

Nice kan?

2. I wanna try the new phone. As you may already know, I love gadget and I love Symbian… The Innov8 is the gadget that I wanna play with the most since it spots an 8mpx camera and plays DivX!

2.8″ screen… GPS, WiFi, 3G, smile detection, face detection… and many many more detection la… i think anyone who uses this phone will become a detective. lol

3. I also wanna see some friends that might have not met for a very long time, especially Cherrie. She used to be our very close friend and goes out together all the time. We even attended the Samsung event last year together.

This was taken when Samsung bought all of us free lunch.. pasta…. I can still remember every moment. hahaa

4. Another reason to join the Innov8 Run is so that we can use the 8mpx camera on the phone to camho lor.. ahahha 8 megapixel you know.. don play play.. pimples and the hair inside our nose also all come out. ahahha

Imagine if we were to be in a team running around KL holding the Samsung Innov8 and we had to take photos of some buildings or landmarks… then we include our faces in the photos…. Im sure those will be damn nice pics. lollololol

So now that I have stated out the reasons why I wanna join Samsung Innov8 Run… im sure the good people there will pick me right? Thanks.

I still remember this photo was taken last year when we got the L760 for trial.

We even discussed in MSN just now how to post this in our blogs.. and how to take nice photos if we get to be part of the Innov8 Run.

We continued walking down the road. We saw more things… we snapped more.

There were actually people who stood by the road side and letting people try their products…

BBQ Grilled Meat

Here goes our camera phone shoot out all the way out from St Paul’s ruins area.

Melvin’s digicam ran out of battery and I didnt bring my dslr… thats why we utilised our phone cameras.

We kept snapping everything we saw while walking out… nice or not nice photo.. don care.. lol

Somehow I like this shot. What about you?

Portuguese egg tart.. very famous.. thats why if you come here you will see a lot of shops selling the same thing.

We saw Mr. Thirsty outside eggtart shop. His ability is to absorb other ppl’s thirst and make it his own. Glup glup glup!

Last day in Macau!

After taking the glowing macau shots, we went for supper at McD.

Upon entering I thought to myself… maybe they have some new selections which are not available in Malaysia… and yes.. they did!

Try to look closely in this photo and see if you can spot any new stuff.

The next day… which was my last day in Macau… we went lunch at the nearby 24 hours restaurant.

While I was eating… I got an SMS from Melvin

“You in Macau?”

I replied “Yea.. why”

“Having lunch?”

I replied “omg ya… how you know”

“Im sitting behind you”

Then I looked back and saw him and his friend eating. ahahhha… he was staying at the same hotel as me too.. and he will be taking the same flight as mine back to KL… what a coincidence.

So after lunch, my parents went back to the hotel to rest… Melvin, his friend and me went to St. Pauls again.

Super hot .. sweat like hell. lol we then climbed up to the top of the ruins.

We made it… very breezy here.. we stood for like 15 minutes enjoying the view.

Look! humans! Those who are afraid of heights better not look down.

Oh btw.. just in case you didnt see the banner I put at the beginning of this post, all the photos here were taken using my N82.

Then we came down and took a few more shots before we went for a mobile phone camera photoshoot down the road.

There were a lot of stalls like this… cos tourist tend to buy drinks and snacks from them.

Glowing Macau Series

It looked damn grand… exactly how i imagined it to be.. haha watched too much TVB dramas.

Convention Ends

Finally… the 3 days Sony Alpha Convention has ended. All the 400 attendees left the hotel happily.. cos they are now richer with knowledge, accesories and food in their stomachs… hahaa

Summary again. lol

Tested the A900 using 50mm f2.8 lens. The big EXMOS CMOS sensor can really capture a loooooooot of details.

Thanks Sony for the super fantastic buffet lunch… I bet the 400 of us got oysters swimming in our stomachs now. ahhaa

The convention ended with Azrin winning an Alpha A700 + Sony 18 250mm lens, 10 alpha users winning a GPS tracker device each and this man here winning the newly launched Sony 24.6mpx full frame DSLR Alpha A900 worth RM9999.

OK back to my Venetian Macau shots.

After the shooting chiqs on boat and fake skies, we went shopping. lol.

Mum bought mooncake here… then I bought some clothes from the shops nearby.

Outside the shops, I saw this performer… pretending to be a statue.

Some curious kids couldnt resist from touching her.

Time passed very quickly when we didnt realised that we were late for the bus… I quickly did a jump and ran outside. (Added to the Jumpilation)

At about 5pm, we took the Venetian bus and went back to the city.
