Venetian Macau

Friday, October 10th, 2008

Totally forgot to post this. My breakfast shot from day 2.. before going over to HongKong.

On the 3rd day of my Macau trip, we went to Venetian!!!

Took the Venetian bus at the harbour and it took us straight to the desitnation. Didnt take photo of the building cos we straight went inside once stepped out of the bus. ahahha

We went to eat something first… found this eating place… got lotsa variety of food. Oh and look at the interior.. fake sky! lol

We had some pasta. Guess how much this thing was. HKD 71!… thats like… RM35… can die can!

… and siu loong bao too.

After that I visited the toilet. Damn grand ok.

Can see me? lol

Dad then went to the casino. Mum and I walked around and me took photos.

Wet Hongkong

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

After having lunch and shopped a bit in the mall, we wanted to walk about but realised it was raining heavily outside… so we stayed in the mall a bit… but knowing we only had a few hours left in HK, we struggled to cross the road and then couldn’t find anything interesting.

On the other side of it, I saw many people carrying umbrellas to cross the junction. I then ran up to the 2nd floor of the building and found a glass pane.

From there I took this shot.

We then walked around for a while but couldnt stand the rain.. so went for a rest/drink.

Taken using my N82.

We then took the MTR to Central… and also Tsuen Wan… but i didnt take any photos there.

At about 8+ we took the TurboJet and went back to Macau.

Hungry. We went dinner.

… at a nearby kopitiam.

The ambience was actually very bad. A lot worse then the photo… and I didnt really dare to drink there… looks.. dirty. ahah

So we simply ordered something to fill our stomachs.

This one SUX! Look at the colour! .. and its got some weird taste. We forced ourselves to finish it.. I rate it 0/10.

This one was ok… phew…

Then we went back to our hotel… cos very tired d.

Sizzling Pepper Beef

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

Right after we arrived at Mongkok we went to the mall and looked for food.

Mum suggested the food junction since the food there all like not bad.

Got a lot of food there that is not available here in KL… but the price… -___-” can die.

Damn a lot of ppl ordered this.. so I ordered too. lol.. I picked the cheapest one.. beef pepper rice… $38… thats like RM19.

So while I was waiting for my order to be ready, my mum got this…

Yay yaya my beefu rice! In order to show you how sizzle the fizzle it was… I have recorded a video.. it’s at the end of this post. :D

Makan time!!!!

After makan we went shopping… lol then center court there got this giant escalator that I had to camho with. lol

Spot me?

OK here’s the video.. MUST WATCH! (haha all the video also i say lidat)

Macau to Hongkong

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

On the 2nd day of my Macau trip, we went to Hongkong.

It was my first time taking turbo jet.. so a bit jakun dat day lol

The ride cost about RM140 for one way… I think it’s quite expensive. What say you?

This is the interior. Very comfy… but then I thought for the amount paid, I’ll get a cup of coffee or something.. but nope. Wanna drink or eat? Go buy.

Everyone was sleeping during the 1.5hours journey… but I couldnt sleep. So I snapped away. Took this using my Nokia N82.

Another random shot.

Upon reaching Hongkong, we took the MTR to Mongkok… cos the last time we came here we went everywhere except Mongkok. (Photo exif: 40mm, f9, 1/2sec, ISO 250, Handheld)

This is not a spy shot ok. ahhaa I just took out my alpha and simple took a few shots without looking and hoping to get some nice ones.

Next Up: Beef in Mongkok!

I was at Starbucks just now and when I was ordering , the barista guy whispered to his colleague while pointing at me.

When I was collecting my drinks, I asked him why he did that.

He told me the conversation between him and his colleague was like this.

Him: Hey he is pOp!
Colleague: Crap lah don look like him also.
Him: Really! he’s pOp!
Colleague: Crap!

Wong Chi Kei

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

After visiting St. Paul’s ruins, we walked down the slope and went for dinner at one of the well known chinese restaurant, Wong Chi Kei… famous for its fried fish skin dishes.

It’s a 3 storey restaurant cos the footprint is actually very small.

We ordered these.

Dad ordered this… nothing special also..

I ordered this… quite tasteless…

This one was ok.. the fish paste kinda chewy and they added some spices in it…

Mum’s wantan mee… nothing special..

Ok conclusion? No good. go McD better.

After eating we walked back to our hotel.

We stopped here to take a few shots and continued our way back to MetroPark Hotel.
