We were trapped

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Finale post for SG trip!

We checked out from Keong Saik hotel at about 12 and bid goodbye to Chinatown.

… and took a cab to the railway station (yes we took the train back to KL)

This KTM station damn old d… which means.. nice to take photo of.

We arrived at the station around 1pm… 1 hour before the departure time which was 2pm….

We found some seats at the hall and waited patiently for 2pm to come…

Suddenly…..

Something bad happened…..

Something that I have never wanted to happen…

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Malaysia memang boleh… this means I have to sit there for nearly 4 hours and do nothing!!!

In other words… we were trapped.

I then started noticing the change of expressions of the people there.

Those who brought along food were lucky… some of them were very kamjiong when they found out about the postponement…

some had totally nothing to do… the games on their mobile phones were probably not fun to play with.. lol and some couples were argueuing… “i told you we should’ve taken the plane!!!”..”aiya… how i know this will happen???!”

Finally… after 4 hours of trying to sleep, taking photos of anything, playing games on the phone until battery died and suffering in the hot and humid KTM station, we were finally able to board the train at 530pm.

PHEWWWWWWWWWWW….

Breakfast at Chinatown

Monday, March 9th, 2009

This is the 2nd last post from my SG trip!

So the next day we had breakkie at one of the kopitiams nearby the hotel.

Very light breakfast.. heh

We only had some toasts and milo.

We then walked around the area and I took some photos of the place.

I actually kinda like this one.

.. and I found Ebay and Paypal Sg office?

I’m on Stuff Magazine!

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

One of Britney’s song “If You Seek Amy” has a hidden meaning. Read it quickly and it becomes “f u c ….. me”. That’s one good CRAP!

POPCRAP 1

I’m on the latest issue of Stuff magazine! lol

POPCRAP 2

I watched Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li & Watchmen today.

STREET FIGHTER
I had very very very low expectation of this movie and it turned out better than expected. (Although it still is not very very good)

Characters from the game and the real life version of them.

I felt satisfied when I see Chunli in the movie did her signature helicopter kick and shadow kick…. also she did tie her hair like in the game…

Bison did not look much like the one in the game but at least he did one of his punch.. the very powerful one..forgot if it has a name. Watch out for these.

I rate it 6.5/10.

WATCHMEN

This is just my opinion ok.. since I have not read the comic before. I think the movie is confusing and very draggy. Very similar the The spirit (the movie that made me walked out of the cinema 10 minutes after the movie started)

Characters from the comic and the real life version of them.

If anyone asks me if I would recommend this, I’ll definitely tell them “DontWatchMen“. lol

I rate it 3/10.

POPCRAP 3

This is the 2nd preview of what’s coming this month.

Choc fondue… Wilson and Huimin ordered this.

This was mine… looks good!

We chatted til midnight and before leaving, we took photos together.

Wilson then drove us all back. heh… Thanks buddy!

Back from Sony Skinny-T Launch

Friday, March 6th, 2009

All photos below were taken using the Carl Zeiss 16-35 f2.8 lens.

Hi all…. Singapore photos will continue tomorrow ok.

I just came back from Luna Bar, to take photos of the Sony Skinny-T Cybershot launch event.

As usual…. a few photos for now… the rest will be blogged again in… June. :D

The new Skinny T comes in 5 colours… Black, Silver, Blue, Pink and Bronze…. and the key features are smile shutter, intelligent scene recognition and HD movie recording.

Here are some faces.

A lot of people from the media industry were invited to witness this event just now…

Got lengluis also!

That’s Chin(front), the Cybershot Skinny T ambassador artiste from Thailand. There was a fashion show before that and the models were the ones standing around Chin, holding the new Cybershots.

Chin also acted in a drama series featuring the Skinny T which will be aired on TV soon. These are his friends..

This is me and the beautiful and cheeky Daphne Iking. I was one of the official photographer for the event along with Ari… that’s why I was wearing the Cybershot tshirt. hehhehehe…

The Spinning Tree

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

After dinner, Patrick and I walked around looking for nice Christmas lights…

We saw this spinning tree…. it was spinning so fast if you put your hand there sure break and blood will fly all over.. no la im just crapping.

We then sat there watching the tree… mesmerised by the lights and probably were hypnotized.

I thought it would be better if i just take car light trails.. lol

I was standing at the side of the road taking this photo… when I spotted 2 person walking across the road  pointing at me…

I stare back at them… and I saw the girl whispering to the guy “smashpOp… smashpOp“…. so I smiled and they smiled back.

The guy then approached me and asked “You’re smashpOp right?” I nodded.

After some chit chat, they wanted to take a jump shot with me.. so we did it.

Thanks Nathalia and Henry for jumping with me. Nice meeting both of you. :D Thanks Patrick for taking this photo.

The lights at Isetan….

Here’s a video of a group of guys and girls caroling at Orchard road…. Patrick and I joined them.. .ahahaha funny shit. Watch ok.

Chinatown Jump

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

I nearly forgot that I jumped at one of the walkways at Chinatown ahha.

Another great jump added to the ultimate collection of smashpOp Jumps.

I then went back to the hotel, showered, changed… and went out to meet up with a KL friend now studying in SG.

I was at an MRT station when I saw this…

Ahhhhhh finally! Free Internet!!! After getting disconnected from the Internet for 1 day (since roaming data charges costs a bomb)… I quickly sat there and surffedddd!!!!

I sat there for 30 minutes… dono how many MRT went passed me already.. ahaha (thanks to the girl sitting nearby for taking this photo of me… whom.. I have obtained her namecard :P )

I finally arrived at Vivo @ Harbourfront. Met up with him and went to makan at Food Republic.

As usual, we were busy taking photos of our food.

He ordered pan mee..

This was mine… and who is this guy?

Patrick lor… lol

After eating we went to shoot the Xmas lights at Orchard… Recorded this video when we were in the tunnel. Check it out!
