Beach Party! A Monte Update

Last night after the first day of NDS day 1, Nokia organised a dinner cum party at the Beach Hotel, Monte Carlo.

Took this photo at 12midnite… when most of the people had left. Some went to the after party..

Tosay is the final day of the Nokia Developer Summit and it ended at 430pm. We then went walking around Monte Carlo to take photos and went for dinner at 8pm.

Our dinner spanned from 8pm to 11.05pm… 3 hours!!! ahaha but we had appetizers, starters, main course, and dessert… at this funky restaurant/bar called Avenue 31.

Leaving MonteCarlo tomoro… means ill be able to ride the heli again to Nice airport. heheh

Monte Update 3: N97! Woot!

So yesterday after taking photos in the rain, I went to the hotel to clean up and chilled.

At 730pm we went for dinner at this fusion restaurant down the road.

The food there was actually not bad. The set, consisting of an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert costs 34 Euros.

So what’s up today? It’s the first day of the Nokia Developer Summit and this IS the reason why everyone is here in Monaco.

The weather was damnnnnnn nice! Cold wind + sunlight = best. lol

At the summit, there were keynotes and apps demonstrations etc etc more about that in my Symbian blog…

I finally had the chance to play with the upcoming Nokia flagship device, the N97. Woot!

Ini Proton ka? A Monte Update

Today is the 2nd day I’m in this place called MonteCarlo.

This morning I woke up at 640am… and went online… to realise that KL time was already 340pm haha..

I then went for breakfast at about 8am… they had super nice pork sausages and pancakes!!! Tomorrow imma go and eat again. Great coffee too.

Oh btw… before coming here I’ve heard that everyone here drives either a Ferrari or Lamborghini…

Now I believe…

Today is another free and easy day.. but it rained since 10am… but I didnt care… I grabbed an umbrella.. grabbed my camera and went out to shoot whatever I saw.

Every photo sure got nice cars wan.. why ah?

Many friends have been asking me if I have videos of the heli ride yesterday… so here’s one of me boarding the heli. More videos will be posted when I blog about this trip again in July ya.

Tiny MonteCarlo Update 1

Hi all… here’s a lil update from the other side of the world.

After 12 hours and 40 minutes of flying from 11pm Saturday(KL), I finally arrived at Amsterdam at 5.45am Saturday…. it was like I teleported to another country 1 day before… weird. ok

I had to stay at the airport as my transit time was just 3 hours… so couldnt go jln jln around Amsterdam…

I then took the KLM cityhopper plane to Nice… Nice is in France btw… I recently only found out.. ahahhahah

From Nice airport I took the Heli ride straight to Monte Carlo… first time naik Heli!!! Jakunness maximum.

It was raining in Monte so I couldnt go out to take photos… but it just stopped like 5 minutes ago.. the time now is 4.20pm Saturday btw….

This is the hotel im in. See the curvy road on the left? That’s the F1 track… which is also their road.

OK I gtg out of the hotel n see if I can spot some Ferrarris or not. bye!

On the last day of Chinese New Year… which was Chap Goh Meh… these people came and played cards at my house. ahhaah how come everyone wore red?

Wah damn fast group shot d…. cos we didnt take much photos prior to that.

Marcus wanted to leave before we went for dinner… so I took another photo with him.

Hello Marcus! Ok we then went for dinner at at cafe nearby.

Hi all. I just came back from the Nokia E75 dinner event at Solaris.

In february, some of my high school mates and I went for dinner.

We ate at CoDo… a vietnamese restaurant.

Me and Chris shared a 2 person set….

The rest just ordered individual ones.

After dinner we went for a drink at Starbucks…

Plus One Shabu Shabu

After leaving Thean Hou temple, we went for dinner at this Shabu shabu place at Imbi.

It’s called Plus One. They have another branch in 1u too.

We were lucky to find a table.. cos the place was full!

The unique point about Plus One is that everyone gets their own soup. You can pick from a variety of choices like tomyam, curry, herbal, vege, clear soup, black pepper pork soup etc etc
