Back in June, some of us were invited for a food review session at New Formosa Restaurant in SS2 PJ.
The restaurant has been around for a LOOOOOOOOONG time… and they wanna revamp the menu so thats why invited us to try, take photos n blog a bit.
Everyone was waiting patiently for food to be served haha.
First dish! The combination of fried tiger prawns stuffed with garlic paste, stir-fried butter eel, Taiwanese 3-cup New Zealand mussels, deep fried pig’s intestine with sesame seeds and fried golden mushrooms with shelled lala.
Next up was this super crunchy suckling pig. Damn nice!
Then we had duck. Stuffed with yam and fried with breadcrumbs.
This was a soup kinda thing served in bamboo containers. The soup tasted a bit like rice wine.
Didnt really like this. Too oily. Supposed to eat with the fried buns.
