Photos from Hatyai seems like never ending eh? Anyways… after visiting Songkhla Aquarium, we went over to a small island on ferry for lunch. According to the tour guide, the seafood is very fresh and the scenery is niceeeeeeee. So we went to check it outz.
We came to this small scale dried food production house along the highway in Yo Island for lunch. It was weird that we stopped here cos it didnt look like a restaurant at all.
We walked through all the alleys filled with dried junk food, machineries and finally arrived at the ‘backyard’
WHOAHHH it was a whole different world at the back!!!! It was the sea and some fishing village!
We all quickly grab our camera and took millions of photos LOL forgetting the reason we were there…. to have lunch.
So at the backyard of the place, we had lunch under a hut. We ordered this yummy green curry chicken with brinjals and other vege inside.
A very simple fried water spinach aka ‘kangkung’
As we ordered one very big fish, they suggested we cut it to half n prepare it in 2 different ways. This is sweet and sour.
… and this is steamed.
We also ordered coconut juice among other stuff.
It was simply the most relaxing meal throughout the first 2 days in Hatyai… with sceneries and food like this… we all felt like VIPs. lol The total cost of the meal? RM120… means about RM30 each.
