A Day Out with the All New Honda FREED

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Last weekend I was at the Advertlets outing with the new Honda FREED.

We got to test drive the new Honda MPV from KL to Putrajaya and back and had lotsa fun! Free food too! ahahhaa

The moment I arrived at Soul’d Out, Hartamas, which was the gathering point, I was surprised to see a fleet of them FREEDs outside. Woot!

Everyone was then asked to join the briefing and breakfast session in the restaurant. We were briefed on the features of the new FREED and were given details on our outing journey.
According to them, the FREED is in it’s own category, which is: A Mini Premium MPV. It is fitted with the 1.5 Honda i-VTEC Engine that gives 118PS at 6,600rpm, 114Nm at 4,800rpm.

32 Advertlets bloggers were there. Didnt have the chance to camho with all of them. Here are Ellie and Ewin.

Also met Arystle and Jing Chong.

We then started off our journey to Putrajaya! The whole trip totaled up to 80km, which means all 4 bloggers in the FREED got the chance to drive 20km each. The organisors also provided lots of snacks and drinks in the MPV for us to enjoy. BEST!

The convoy stopped at the 20km mark to exchange drivers. We then took a JUMP shot! :D :D:D:D:D All 4 of us were in the same car. Ewin, Rames, Ellie and me.

The fleet of 8 Honda FREEDs then resumed the journey.

There was a polaroid camera in the MPV too! That’s cos they had a contest for us to submit our most creative shots to win some prizes at the end of the day.

We finally arrived at Putrajaya. Games and some activities took place.

One of the Honda crew was my ex-classmate! ahaha hello Monique! :D

Oh Goodbye Fatigue

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

I remember long long time ago mum once told me “woi your face must take care, not girls only.. guys also must!” Then she passed me some basic facial products like cleanser, toner and moisturizer.
Since then I have been using these stuff on an off… (off cos sometimes lazy to do it lol).

Recently I was walking at the mall and I stumbled upon Biotherm Homme’s men’s facial products. They are in red so it caught my eye.

These red ones are of the High Recharge series which help fight fatigue skin. As usual they come in 3. Anti fatigue cleansing gel, moisturizing lotion and Anti fatigue concentrate.

So I have been using them for a while are I realized that these products from Biotherm is actually very refreshing. After cleaning away the cleansing gel, the face feels clean.
Then I wipe my face with the toner and lastly, when I applied the moisturizer, I can feel that the skin is tightened like it just came out from the gym and is very strong. It is also like the sort of feeling of after effect of going to a spa treatment, if u know what I mean.

As I mentioned above, sometimes im too lazy to wash my face with these products but I have never skipped since I started using Biotherm Homme’s High Recharge products.. cos I wanna enjoy and refreshing feeling everytime before I go to sleep and after I wake up. My mum even called me a vain pot! Likewise, she is surprised that I’m starting to pay attention to my skin care regime.

I guess being in the 20s now, I’m more worried about my skin condition. Instead of using whatever products my mum passed to me now, I’m sticking to Biotherm Homme’s High Recharge. After all, if it works why change!

Thanks Albert for the fotos.

From the city to KLIA in 28 mins

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Do you still remember my post about the trip to Langkawi sometime back?

I posted some of my camho shots I took in the KLIA Ekspres which I ride on from KL Sentral all the way to the airport.

I seriously feel grateful cos we have the KLIA Transit which helped many ppl travel from the city to KLIA cos it saves us a lot of time and hassle. Do you know that it only takes 28 minutes to travel from KL Sentral to the airport?
Why I think everyone should use the KLIA Ekspres:

• Luggage check in available at KL Sentral
• easy connectivity (KL Sentral linked to various transportation networks, RapidKL, KTM, etc)
• No traffic jams
• Variety of amenities at KL Sentral (food outlets, banks, etc..)

It’s also very nice to take photos of… if you love taking photos like me. Hheehe.

The interior is very clean and cozy, not forgetting the cooling conditioned air.

As a Malaysian, we should be proud of the KLIA Ekspres cos of it’s on time service performance (99.7% even better then European counterparts – Heathrow Express, Arlanda Express).

If we take the KLIA Ekspres, we get free porter service at the airport too. How cool is that? Feels like VIP kan? Hahahha

We can actually check in at KL Sentral itself and our luggage’s will be handled professionally and they will be transferred straight onto the plane. All we need to do is just walk into the transit stylishly without carrying anything.. enjoy the 28minutes ride and board the place when we arrive at the airport. Best.

Do check out KLIA Express Facebook at www.facebook.com/ExpressRailLink and Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/expressraillink
