Hi everyone! The wait is finally ending! What’s the GIVEAWAY? What was the hype about?

Well before that, let’s take a look at my new toy.

It’s the LENOVO Ideapad U460.

Thank to Lenovo for giving me this AWESOME laptop and after using it for a period of time, here’s my brief review of the machine.

The U460 is an ultraportable notebook which is SUPER slim and light. How light? It’s only about 1.95kg.. which is considered featherweight when it comes to laptops. This 14-inch U460 comes with an 8-cell battery and the latest Intel i5 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology. FUAH. I love the clarity of the LED screen. 14inch is the best size for laptops cos its not too small until you have to squint your eyes.. and not too big to carry around.

A lot of thin laptops out there only has 2 USB ports. This one has THREE! I usually plug one to charge my iPhone, one to my memory card reader to transfer my photos and another one for my broadband USB dongle. Just nice.

I really like the textured aluminium top. It’s adds some artsy feeling to the machine which doesnt shout too much for attention. I’d say it looks classy yet funky.

I was a bit jakun lah when I took it out from the box cos I’ve never had a laptop with thumbprint scanner built in. HAHAHHAHHA I tried it and I felt like I was in some James Bond movie.. swipe… recognised… identified… access granted.

I also bring it along to office.. and sometimes to Starbucks. It’s so thin n light I can just put it in my shoulder bag and off I go.
