Well, there are in Malaysia and I just came back from their showcase at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus!

The showcase was initiated by special performances by local band ‘Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob’, Shawn Lee, Elecoldxhot and FIX.

The trio from Wong Fu Productions finally appeared! Oh wait… where’s Ted? Well, due to some issues, Ted didnt come.

Phil and Wes shared their story on their life, works and interests.

They also brought some new stuff which are not published yet; episode 2 and 3 of their current web series “Home is Where The Hans Are”.

The event ended with Phil & Wes posing with their fans!

Harry Potter 7.5 ended around 2 and a half hours later… so at about 1030pm we walked out and felt hungry.

… and we ended up at Chinatown trying this Four Seasons Duck.. lol

So we walked up the red carpet.. which was super long… we walked past the NAtional Gallery at Trafalgar square

The final person to arrived at the red carpet…. the author of all the Harry Potter books….. J.K.ROWLING!!!!

Right after J.KRowling walked the red carpet, it was our turn! As we needed to walk to the premiere screening halls… a group photo before we started walking.

I was just walking right behind J.K.Rowling.. how cool is that! haahaha MORE SOON!

OK then it was dinner time. I totally didn’t expect the dinner to be fine dining like.. and we get to dine with Miss Tourism one on one!

I dined with both Miss Lebanon and Miss Indonesia… both were very friendly. Had a nice chat with them that night.

Oh not to forget, Miss Estoniz who sat on my left that night.

As he walked in front of me, I was shouting… LOOK HERE!!! LOOK HERE!!! lol but then everyone was shouting the same thing from all angles..

Then he went up the main stage for an interview.

After having lunch with James & Katie at Byron Burger, I made my way back to the hotel.

When I got back to the hotel, I went shower, changed to a proper attire and met the rest of the gang at the lobby. We were all given special Red Carpet access and premiere screening passes! Thanks Windows Live!

Everyone’s looking handsome and pretty and yes we are ready to go to Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows pt.2 red carpet!

Cabs were outside ready to fetch us there.

We have arrived! Cool air, clear skies.. big clouds, everyone was looking excited… fans were all over!

I arrived at 530pm and there was about 30 people in line already.

The first 4 people to queue. Leonard (extreme right) started queuing since 9am! That’s 15 hours of standing in line!

At about 730pm the convention centre was FILLED with crowd all waiting to get the maxis iPhone 4S!

Luckily there were entertainments like band performances, magic shows, games and quizzes with DJs from Era.fm, Hitz.fm and Myfm..
There was also bottomless servings of popcorn and drinks to everyone!

At about 830pm all media adjourned to the media hall for dinner…

…and also introduction speech by Sandip Das, Chief Executive Officer, Maxis Berhad.

Since media(or registered bloggers) get all access to all halls, I went into the main hall to check out the collection and payment booths. There were 40 of them as opposed to 60 from last year.

At 11pm the first batch of customers (40 of them) were ushered to the hall to practice the launch gambit.. so they know where to go what to do and how to collect their iPhone 4S.

At the same time, there was booze and performances at the VIP hall! (yes I hung out here a little since I had all access hehehe)

It was 11.47pm and everyone was getting hyped up! the first 40 people were ready to rush in!
