#MWC12 Day 3: New Phones & #WindowsPhone Party!

It’s the 3rd day of the MWC12 trip to Barcelona, thanks to Nokia.

Today is the first day of Mobile World Congress and we arrived at the venue at 745am to attend the Nokia presentation of their new devices.

Then we had a Q&A session and lunch.

We then went back to MWC to check out more new stuff!

At the end of the day, we were all having fun at the Windows Phone party at El Monilo.

#MWC12 Day2: Fast Track To Sagrada Familia

It’s my 2nd day here at Barcelona and this was sorta what happened today. A summary.

Had breakfast at 930am and then went to Fira (where the MWC is) to collect our tags.

The venue itself is so grand I couldnt imagine what’s gonna be like inside..
We used the fast track lane to collect our tags.. which.. was really fast.

We then walked about 5kms to Sagrada Familia… the biggest Roman Church in Barcelona and has been under construction for more than 40 years

We walked a lil bit more and then went back to the hotel to freshen up. Dinner was at 8pm with this bunch of awesome people.

So yea.. day 2 was fun. The real deal starts tomorrow. CYA!

#MWC12 Day1: KL To Istanbul To Barcelona

Summary of MWC12 trip day 1

So I took the flight last night at 12.30am and arrived at Istanbul airport 11hours later.

Transitted to Barcelona from there. Waited 3 hours.. which is not too long.. but not short either. The flight took about 3.5 hours to fly to Barcelona.

So this is the hotel we are staying in now. It’s right smack in the middle of some forest + horce ranch + golf course. Quite chilling.. which means it’s quite far away from town.

My room. Heh

At 9pm we had dinner.

OK time to sleep. Next up.. day 2 summary (which I am not sure what’s gonna happen yet lol).

Someone from VW passed us a card and talked a bit about the cars.

1 Baby, 3 Girls & A Volkswagon Das Auto Show

So back in August, Ewin and I went to see some cars at the Volkswagon Das Auto Show.

It was held at the open space beside Bukit Jalil stadium. I tried to go there during daytime but the queue of humans was longer than the great wall of China so we had to go at night.

Even then the queue was still quite long but bearable.

In the 2nd hall, visitors waited for their turn to enter the dome.. so they played some racing games to waste time.

[Photos & Video] Nokia Lumia Launch at Pavilion KL, Malaysia!

The biggest Nokia launch event in 2011/2012 has to be the one at Pavilion KL today.

It was the launch of their first Windows Phones, the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710.

We were invited to the event to witness the launch and most importantly.. to hav fun! BryanLYT, SapiensBryan, ME, Joshua, Baldwin.

The first 100 to purchase the Lumia 800 get the Nokia Purity HD Headphones by Monster + Microsoft Arch touch mouse for free! Check out the queue! The first few people were already here from 6am! Crazy.

At 5.30pm, the launch ceremony took place

I Planked At MTV WorldStage [video]

Back in July, we were at i-City for the 2011 MTV Worldstage!

The thing was supposed to start at 730pm.. we arrived early and had dinner at KFC

See the KFC behind us? This is the outlet where the KFC fight took place. Woohoo!

The venue was super spacious we could walk around even though everyone was already in the compound.

Bumped into MunKeat and friend.

VJ Holly and Utt were the hosts that night.

The best performance that night was by 30 Seconds To Mars.. according to everyone.

We can haz enjoyz!

No we were not drunk. We were planking. LOL

Wong Fu Productions LIVE In Malaysia! [video]

Hellooo!!! If you are an avid Youtube viewer, you would’ve probably stumbled or already a fan of Wong Fu Productions.

Well, there are in Malaysia and I just came back from their showcase at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus!

Check out the queue! Luckily I had media pass.. *instant access*!

The showcase was initiated by special performances by local band ‘Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob’, Shawn Lee, Elecoldxhot and FIX.

The trio from Wong Fu Productions finally appeared! Oh wait… where’s Ted? Well, due to some issues, Ted didnt come.

Phil and Wes shared their story on their life, works and interests.

They also brought some new stuff which are not published yet; episode 2 and 3 of their current web series “Home is Where The Hans Are”.

The event ended with Phil & Wes posing with their fans!

Harry Potter 7.5 ended around 2 and a half hours later… so at about 1030pm we walked out and felt hungry.

We walked n walked thinking what to eat

… and we ended up at Chinatown trying this Four Seasons Duck.. lol
