I just came back from the Lenovo All in 1 PC launch event at The Apartment, The Curve.

They launched 3 desktop PCs C100, C300 and A600. People are competing in this table tennis game to win the C300 PC… I was in the running too. LOL

I invited of ma 2 buddies along, Chris and Eujuin.

On the 22nd of May, my colleagues and I went for lunch at Waterlily Cafe, Puchong. They serve balinese food I think.

I ordered this… the grilled chicken was damn delicioussssssssssssssss lol a bit spicy.

They have ice blended of everything! Red bean, chendol, corn, yam.. etc etc.

3 months ago, on the 28th March, I went for lunch with mum at this super old kopitiam called Yut Kee.

I heard that this place has been around for generations… but not sure how long.

The ambiance portrays the lifestyle of the olden days when people were to sit at the coffee shop sipping coffee and reading newspapers. (but seems like they added an LCD TV as you can see in the photo)

Me lo.. who else. lol

I ordered one of their signature dish, the Hainanese Chicken Chop. Tasted ok lah.. kinda expensive for that small piece of chicken… it was around RM9.. if I remember correctly.

Mum ordered this. According to her, it was very ‘homecooked’ style.

We then left the kopitiam and I went to KL Design Week expo at Capsquare. Photos will be up tomorrow

Everyone started making noise… complaining etc…

5 minutes later the pasta and pizza finally arrived…

All of us ordered this soup… it’s the best mushroom soup I have ever tasted in my whole life. They also agreed. Its homemade quality. Full of little mushroom dices… thick cream soup. Yums!

After lunch, we rushed back to work as we were already very very late.

At about 5pm they surprised me with a cake. All my other colleagues were around me singing the birthday song.

Thanks all! Thats my birthday lunch… 1 day before my birthday which was at 21.3.09

I didnt expect the lunch therefore I didnt bring any cameras.. ahah luckily Albert brought.. so all these photos are by him.

This is my happy face. lol Thanks to them again… for buying me lunch..

Do you know that the food was only served 45 minutes after we ordered? SO DAMN LONG! We got pissed and kicked their dog…. eh no la there wasn’t any dogs.

Months ago we went lunch at Citrus Park, OUG.

It was our 2nd time there… the food there is really good and the price is reasonable too.

Shawn joined us since he was interning in Astro that time.

Since Albert had his camera with him… he was in charged of the photo taking.. ahha he was trying out one of his lens too.

3rd day of Chinese New Year is always a movie day for our family… cos it is believed that we should not visit each other at our homes cos it will cause argument etc.

So we went to watch a CNY movie at Pyramid…. before that we lunched at Papa rich.

Let’s continue with our Singapore trip.

After eating wantan noodle at the hawker center, we checked in to our low budget hotel. I found this Keong Saik Hotel online and thought its good enough for 1-2 nights stay.

I actually prefer small hotels like this… dono why though.. hmm

The room was rather small.. so small they have to put the TV on the wall.. hehe.. oh this is the view outside my room… I was snapping all angles and I caught this bird flying .. not bad.

I could see the hotel entrance right below my room.. ahah oh can you spot the solar powered signboard? Hightechnya Singapore…

It then rained damn heavily for about an hour non stop… we couldnt do anything but to get stucked in the room and watch Singapore TV…

When the rain stopped, we quickly ran across 2-3 streets and took the MRT to Orchard road for lunch. Walked past this McCafe…

We then had lunch at Takashimaya… mum wanted to try this emelette rice thingy.. so I joined her.

Ordered the mushroom chicken one…

Went for a short walk at Orchard after lunch….
