Thursday, January 28th, 2010On the 3rd day of our Langkawi Sony Media trip, we presented videos compiled by everyone of us through out the night before that (no sleep! omg..) and tried to win the great prizes. We also had to submit 3 best photos from every group.
Check out everyone’s face.. ahah as much as we were excited about winning A550 and the new Cybershots….. we were just too sleepy… -_-
Winning group gets A550 each, 1st runner up wins TX1, 3rd place wins WX1, 4th and 5th place win Sony Printers each.
Photo submissions were displayed on the table… ahhh I see 3 of my photos… eheh
So who won? Let’s just say…. Some groups won la ok? ahaha
In the afternoon, we all packed, checked out and got to the airport.
We all were very early so we yumcha at Starbucks.
About to fly back to KL!
We arrived at KLIA in the evening and we bid goodbye to all the new friends.
Some of us took the KLIA transit to KL Sentral.
In the train we did some silly things with Albert’s camera… ahahah utilising the Smile Detection feature on the WX1 cybershot. MUST WATCH!

We are back again… to the Langkawi posts… ahahaa
So after shooting at the famous eagle square, we went up the bus again and we were brought to this cable car place were we had to compete with each other to solve some clues and win rewards.
After all the running up down left right, we all got to ride the cable car up the hill. Weeee!
It was actually my 2nd time here… still very nice feeling to be so high up and wind was so strong ppl wearing wigs better don go up ahah
We had to drama drama a bit in the cable car cos one of us had to record video of the whole journey up…
This was the top platform where we spent 30 minutes taking photos of everything ahhaha (Click on the photo for BIGGER PANORAMA!)
Suddenly I noticed 2 other Sony members were wearing the same Nike Lunarglide as me.. and since it’s black orange, we shot our shoes with the Sony Alpha.. 
It was time to go back down.

Life in Pudu
Sunday, January 24th, 20102 days ago, I went for a street shoot in Pudu with Eujuin and WeiXiong. We have actually planned for a shoot like this for sometime and finally we did it. haha
This is a summary post of the day… more details and photos will be posted in April 2010.
So here goes!
Thats us! A Nikon user, a Canon user and a Sony user…. Woot! lol
We started our day with a bowl of super delicious hakka noodle at this lorong called Jalan Sayur. The shop is called Choon Kee noodle shop and they have been around for nearly 70 years and is very very famous in KL.
What makes the noodle so special? The minced pork, charsiew and the home made noodles.
Then we slowly walked and shot everything in sight…
We saw this Indian lady with her baby and she was very happy that we snapped her child. ehhe
As dirty as it seems, everything looked good through the viewfinder. We had a great time snapping chickens, people and the wet market.
We talked to some of the people there and they were very welcoming and friendly. Totally unexpected.
At the end of the day, we walked all the way from Pudu to Pavilion to enjoy a bowl of Snowflake. ahahahha

Langkawi Eagle Jump

After lunch, we walked over to Eagle Square to take group photo there.

ShareThe New Sony Alpha A550, TX1 & WX1

After the buffet lunch, we rushed to the ballroom as the planned product launch was about to begin.
We all walked up to 3rd floor where the ballrooms were and registered ourselves to 5 different groups (which will be used for competition the next day).
While waiting for the Sony team to get ready, we took some photos first… eheh

The launching then started with product managers from Sony Malaysia and big bosses from Japan presenting us the new products… Sony Alpha A550, Cybershot TX1, WX1 and a new Handycam.
Each team was loaned a TX1, WX1, A550, Vaio and a Handycam each so that we could use them for our assignment the next day.
I volunteered to be the A550 guy as Im used to handle Alphas already… eheh
Lovin the pop up live view screen, 14.2mpx, ISO 12800, Auto HDR mode and 7fps burst shot feature.
The talk lasted for about 6 hours and it finally ended at 8pm…
We all rushed to the coffee house for buffet dinner.. everyone was super hungry again.. ahaha
Dinner ended at about 10pm and we got back to our rooms to shower and to settle our stuff and then all came back out to the lounge for drinks (thanks to Mr. Taku Taguchi, big boss from Sony Japan.. ehehe)..
We chilled, enjoyed the live band.. cool breeze from the sea and more drinks… til about 3am…

Friday, January 15th, 20103 months ago I was invited by Sony Malaysia to attend a media trip to Langkawi for the launch of their new cameras, the Sony Alpha A550, TX1 and WX1 Cybershots.
I met up with Albert at KL Sentral and we took the KLIA Transit to the airport.
What to do during the 45mins trip? Camho lor.. ahah thats me and my Nike AW77 hoodie.

As time went by, we ran out of things to snap, so I snapped my bag and shoes.. LUL
We arrived at the airport and met up with the rest of the media, journalists and editors from various newspapers and magazines. Then we went to McD for breakfast.

POPCRAP 1
I was at Pudu Plaza today for the opening of Sony Alpha Pro-Shop aka Studio Zaloon. Pro-shop means it has each and every single Sony Alpha cameras, lenses and accesories.
It’s also the first Sony Alpha Pro Shop in South East Asia. Woot!
A lot of media, bloggers and photographers came for the launch and all of them were using Sony Alpha! Wooot!!! Wassup ma buddies! lol
The usual suspects… all equipped with Alphas… Leslie, Augustine, Ewin, JonYKT, Me, Alex, Kristine, BryanLYT
To all Sony Alpha users, you now have a new place to hangout and buy camera gears.. ehheeh

Today iz damn nice! Today iz damn fun! huahuahuahauhauah about 20-30 of us went to have fun, eat, shopping, rock climbing, eat again, wakeboarding, watch movie for FREE! Woot! Thanks to Advertlets and Alamanda Putrajaya.

We arrived there at about 930am… and had breakfast at Oldtown White Coffee.

We then went shopping at Quiksilver… but most of us ended up camhoring. ahauhauahuaha
Then we went to Taman Cabaran for rock climbing! I am not a rock climbing virgin anymore! Best!
At about 130pm we went for buffet lunch at Pullman Hotel. DAMN DAMN NICE HOTEL OMG FIRST TIME I SEE HOTEL NICE LIKE THIS!

Fuuh! After eating we went for some photoshoot in the hotel…. visited the rooms, gyms, pool etc… and off we went for wakeboarding!
Then we went dinner at Manhattan Fish Market and watch the movie AVATAR at 630pm. Had a super fun day at Putrajaya…..
