Part 1: R.age Photowalk To Jalan Sultan
Part 2: Aunties & Uncles At The Wet Market
Part 3: R.age Photowalk To Land Of Dangling Coils!

So after exploring Petaling St., we finally walked back to Jalan Sultan.

The volunteers were already painting and drawing murals on the wall.

We all quickly took some group shots and that marked the end of the R.age photowalk for that day.

Then there was a quick photo sharing session whereby all the guys at the photowalk share and show some of their shots and I gave them some feedbacks and comments.

We then joined the volunteers and checked out the wall close up!

I also draw a bit a bit

Camho a bit..

Some paints they were using

Ok thats it! Had fun walking around Petaling Street with them and the rest of the guys. Hope to have another one soon. Thanks R.age!

R.age Photowalk To Jalan Sultan

Thursday, April 26th, 2012

So back in October, The Star R.age invited a bunch of photography enthusiasts and me for a photowalk at Jalan Sultan. Like the photowalk before, my job was to guide the group and give them some photography advices when needed.

We started off our walk here. Jeremy from Red.FM joined in as well.

We had a guide that walked us through the area and told us stories on the history of the buildings and stuff

Off we went!

We stopped here and the guide told us stories about the bookshop.

Hope these buildings stay so future generations can learn a bit about our history

Looking around.. observing the heritage

OK more photos tomorrow!

R.age Photowalk At Jalan Sultan

Monday, October 17th, 2011

So on Saturday I was at Jalan Sultan to lead a group of young photographers around in this photowalk session organised by The Star R.age.

At the same time as our photowalk, there was also an event whereby 50 ppl were there to paint the mural on the wall of one of the old buildings. Here are some photos from that day.

We actually had a tour guide to bring us around to tell us stories about some of the old buildings there. It’s quite shocking to hear them which I never would’ve known if not because of this. Haha

So after 30 minutes of following the tour guide, everyone was given time to roam around freely to capture photos. Some of them were with me as I explained stuff about street photography.

We went to all sorts of places.. from temples to markets.

Had breakfast there too.. this fishball noodles with minced meat was awesome. Hawker foods is always amazing. (and cheap too)

At the end of the photowalk… we all gathered back at the tents and everyone started showing their photos at the photo sharing session. Glad to be able to share some tips and evaluate the photos.

Had a short stop at the wall and talked to some of them painters/artists there.

R.age guys + Dulux guys jump! While I pose of course. haha

10 Exclusive Photos From The Singapore F1 Trip!

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

Yes I am finally back home from the awesome 4 days trip to Singapore for the F1 Night Race, thanks to Sony for sending me there and allowing me to use the upcoming Alpha A77 SLT.

To check out the daily activities on the respective days, click the links below:
SG – #F1 Day 4: Goodbye & HappyLemon
SG – #F1 Day 3: Race Day & LINKIN PARK
SG – #F1 Day 2: Marina Bay + Qualifying Day
SG-F1 Day 1: Sony Goodies & ION

Now here are 10 exclusive shots to highlight the things happened throughout the 4 days.

Is us.. Malaysia team.. amongst teams from other counties like Taiwan, Hongkong, Thailand, Australia, Korea & Singapore.

The trip got exciting the moment we received these SGD$1288 F1 grandstand passes which also gave us access to all zones at the track.

The pass also gave us unlimited rides on the Singapore Flyer.

Which then gave us chance to capture the F1 track from the sky.

I also got to meet up with my friends.. these guys are prominent tech bloggers in SG.

Got the chance to see some of the F1 girls at the venue.. though not many.

One of my favorite shots from the trip. That’s me shooting the track. Captured using Sweep Panorama feature on the Sony A77. CLICK ON THE PHOTO OR HERE TO ENLARGE!

Of course the main thing about the trip was to be able to shoot F1 in action and the cars zooming past with blazing loud sounds that could break the eardrums instantly…

… and I got to see LINKIN PARK for the first time in my life right in front of my eyes. It was AMAZING.

So there you go. That basically sums up everything. Thanks Sony I enjoyed myself. DETAILED POSTS WITH MORE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS SOON!
