If you are an Instagrammer or a fan of minimalism, then you should never miss out this new cafe in Mont Kiara called ‘Kopenhagen Coffee’.
In case you are not familiar with the area, this cafe is located right opposite of Gardens International School. That also means one thing: car park space is scarce. So be prepared to make a few uturns along the street to find a spot.
At the end of the fleet of stairs leading up to the cafe, you will see this little window and a very minimalist bench with some pillows. To all Instagrammers, you can start taking your OOTDs here 😀
I’ve counted. In total, they only have three 4-person tables and two 2-person seatings. According to Tsu Ann, the lady who is handling their design and branding, counter top tables will be installed very soon below the stretch of windows, as indicated by the row of wall sockets on the wall.
The barista counter is located right in the middle of the cafe, separating the entry space and a ‘hidden’ couch corner which Im sure many people will want to pose at.
They also have a glass room with a long table for people who needs more table seatings or want to hold meetings in a quieter space.
Since they are only 2.5 weeks old, they only serve pastries and light meals currently with more brunch items to come soon.
Here are the drinks item they are selling and their prices.
I ordered a cup of flat white and it came in a very nice blue cup (which is bigger than the usual flat white cups, but fret not… the taste of coffee is actually stronger than many offerings out there despite the bigger volume). Thumbs up!
In case you are wondering why this place is called ‘Kopenhagen Coffee’, it’s because the owner is a Danish!
Here are some Instagram shots posted by some people who visited this cafe recently.
