Lunch @ MiuKai

It’s lunch time!!!!!!!!!!!! Where to eat? What to eat?

Well, one day, we went for lunch at Miu Kai, Hongkong restaurant at Sri Petaling.

It’s us.. the usual lunch gang :D

We ordered set lunches.

The set lunch choices that day were claypot rice!

Jason Kang didnt get the set. Instead, he got this.

The rest of us all got claypots!

It took about 20 minutes for our food to be served… why so long ah?

… and that’s it! Our lunch! ahahha What did you have for lunch today?

Oh yay first to comment! One thing I really have to say is that Rames got really cool glasses heheh! Never seen him in that frame before so I can happily assume that it’s new :D or maybe I’m just simply way too outdated!

Speaking of claypot rice, what a mouth-watering photo you have over there! After living Singapore for the past 6 years I am yet to find a stall that sells the kind of claypot rice I love… I can only find those in Malaysia! Aurgh.

  2. Claypot rice takes long la – put water, then rice, then the meat, then cook. 20 minutes is a good thing because it means yours was freshly cooked, and not prepared earlier and reheated.

Don’t forget to pour the soy sauce not only in the pot, but also on top of the lid!

I love the semi-crunchy rice at the bottom. :D

All the chicken rice is making me giddy. And hungry.

It takes longer because it’s being cooked with love. Lots of sweat (maybe that’s why it’s good?) was poured in… etc etc.

    What’s up next???

Is this shop the same row as Capri?

If it is, it is amazing how it managed to survive so long. Hehe.
